Counselling For You
Sometimes life can seem overwhelming and we can be dealing with something painful. It can bring various challenges that can threaten our well being and relationships. We all have times when we need emotional support and talking about things that are private and distressing can feel like a difficult thing to do.
Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you to find ways to deal with emotional issues.
You will be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions and the therapist will support you as you do so.
I offer a safe, unjudgemental and confidential space for you to work through what is troubling you. I work mainly in a Person-Centred way, which means you, the client will lead the sessions. You know where your struggles lie and have the inner resources to reach solutions.
I can however integrate other modalities into the therapy to suit your needs which can support you as you find new ways forward.
